About Me

Sherrill St. Germain, MBA, CFP®

During my 10 years as owner of New Means Financial Planning, my guiding principle was to be the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER(TM) I always wanted to hire before becoming one.  That is, one who gives clients the straight answers they need to make informed decisions about their personal finances.  I offered fee-only advice one-on-one, but I also enjoyed writing objective, accessible Web, newsletter, and blog content for a wider audience. Now I aim to do the same for other financial professionals and organizations who need help delivering content with style and substance to their readers. Check out samples of my writing here and on the blog.

Prior to New Means, I held positions in CRM software product management, professional services, project management, and engineering, where tech savvy, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively were also critical to my success. See resume for details.

In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, hiking, trail running, cross country skiing, yoga, French language and culture, cooking without recipes, and reading.
